Salesforce Consultant - CPQ
G1 is looking to add a full-time Salesforce CPQ Consultant to our growing team. At G1 we work alongside our clients to help design flexible and scalable solutions on Salesforce and CPQ platforms. This role requires that you understand Salesforce and CPQ design and development best practices and can apply them to the delivery of business solutions. You will work with technical and cross-functional business teams to implement enhancements, projects, and resolve incidents, and requires a combination of analytical, technical, business acumen, and communication skills.

As a Salesforce CPQ Consultant, you will be a trusted adviser to business leadership with a focus on strengthening our Salesforce & CPQ practices, leading large cross-functional problem-solving initiatives and driving breakthrough results.
Candidates must be comfortable working on remote teams, potentially located in multiple countries and be willing to adjust schedules to meet the needs of a specific project.
Responsibilities
Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platform
Create and collaborate on the solution and technical design artifacts, and present and participate in cross-functional review sessions
Manage multiple projects at once. Initially working on both Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ implementations.
Manage all aspects of a project including project risks, issues, contingencies, communications, project schedules, project financials and change management plans.
Use judgment and experience to analyze business problems and make recommendations to help drive business results; influence clients to both recognize these opportunities and take action to exploit them
Lead discovery sessions, performing business process modeling, UX, and high level technical architecting.
Work with clients and other internal team members to identify specific needs and utilize Salesforce to meet those requirements.
Work with the client to ensure a successful implementation.
Be technically capable and confident in your approach to helping customers embrace and adopt new technology.
Support daily operations of G1, as necessary, including business development, sales cycle support, and practice aid development.
Required Experience & Skills
2+ years implementing end to end Salesforce CPQ solutions
3+ years Salesforce experience and within consulting environment
Thorough understanding of the CPQ product with experience in at least two medium to large-scale full-lifecycle Salesforce CPQ implementations, with strong expertise in Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.
Strong functional knowledge of Quote-To-Cash, Configuration, Product catalog/modeling Pricing and Quoting functionality
Should have skills to analyze the existing requirements/customizations and come up with suitable ‘out-of-the box’ equivalent process in Salesforce
Should have business process re-engineering skills
Salesforce CPQ and either SFDC Administrator or Developer certifications
Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to Applications team members as well as business stakeholders
Provide support for new projects, enhancements, and bug fixes related to solutions being delivered on the Salesforce & CPQ platform.
Work with Business/functional analysts to design & implement end to end automation
Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, Growth, and implementation partners to build and deploy Salesforce CPQ configuration automation.
Ability to build strong personal and professional networks
Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to be effective across various levels of a customer’s organization.
Self-starter and proficient working in an entrepreneurial environment and committed to helping G1 constantly improve and grow.
